OUR FOUNDER

Jessica T. Ornsby-Arthur, Esq.

Before founding DC Landlord Advisors, our founder spent over a decade litigating the disputes that define landlord risk in the District: TOPA violations, rent control overcharge claims, contested evictions, habitability suits, and security deposit litigation, in DC Superior Court's Landlord-Tenant and Civil Actions Branches.

That experience is the foundation of our property management approach. Every policy, lease clause, and maintenance protocol we use exists because we've seen — in court — exactly what happens when it's missing.

  • Litigator, DC landlord-tenant disputes

  • Direct experience in Landlord-Tenant Branch proceedings

  • Advises exclusively on DC properties and DC law
